WASTE MANAGEMENT Packaging represents the Group's largest source of waste. To rein in the impact of its waste, DESCOURS & CABAUD is working alongside its upstream suppliers to increase truck rill rates and improve conditioning and packaging for deliveries. The Group is ramping up its shipments using reusable containers, which are returned to its sites once empty. This principle applies to the Group's pallets. The Groups send 100% of its waste to approved organisations while prioritising recycling or recovery processes. In addition, the Group’s branches are involved in a recovery approach, with the aim of recycling or recovering 80% of waste. In 2023 in France, the rate achieved was 86%. Worldwide, 1,631 tonnes of waste were sent to specialised waste collection partners, 77.7% of which was traced as recycled/recovered.
