2018 DECLARATION OF NON-FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF THE DESCOURS & CABAUD GROUP 21 D. Remaining a relevant player in the marketplace In a recruitment market characterised by a real “war of talents”, failing to attract the best talents is a major risk. It can result in the company being unable to fill its positions externally and can also lead to the departure of internal resources. It is one thing to recruit talents, quite another to retain them over the long term. > The means of control: Operating in the B2B sector, it is not easy for DESCOURS & CABAUD to have a good overview of the labour market. Placing the distribution network under three national and international brands helps to detail each profile and to clarify their local positioning. The fact remains that reinforcing the employer brand is the subject of particular attention and is reflected in various concrete actions: • Growing presence on social media with the recent overhaul of DESCOURS & CABAUD's recruitment site, coupled with presence on other external sites, Facebook and LinkedIn in particular, in order to raise its profile. • A presence on building industry forums at both national and local level, which promotes the company and its lines of business. A schedule is prepared at the beginning of the year to coordinate the activity. • The HR department is assisted by an external agency to determine the best communication channels for recruitment purposes and work on the employer brand. • Sponsoring a national initiative, following the example of “Sport dans la Ville”, also raises the profile of the DESCOURS & CABAUD group while at the same time reaching potential job applicants. • A co-option programme was introduced at the end of 2018 to encourage applications recommended by DESCOURS & CABAUD staff. All new recruitments by this means entitle the employee to an additional bonus and capitalise on word of mouth to increase the number of applications. 3,572 employees trained 103,131 hours of training given representing an investment of €4,173,195 in training Percentage of correct answers to technical quizzes: 68% Percentage of employees who have changed jobs, been relocated or promoted in the past 12 months: 11% Change in the number of LinkedIn subscribers: +78.4% i.e. 4,264 additional subscribers Change in the number of applications received through job advertisements: this will be monitored during the next financial year TRAINING RESULTS RELATED KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
