Our target of 20,000 has since been attained (with 21,000 followers in 2020). • The Group’s ability to transmit exactly how it is positioned in the labour market, and to ensure that the candidates that join it find exactly what they had perceived, is an important factor in the solidity of the Employer brand. Measuring the rate of departure of new recruits during the first year is a key indicator for measuring the quality of the Employer brand. PERSONAL SECURITY To guarantee a safe environment and persons’ physical integrity is a permanent commitment and concern. One of our main responsibilities consists of putting in place secure and healthy working conditions for all our staff. A considerable proportion of our activity consists of the handling, storage and transporting of products that are often heavy and bulky, and can therefore lead to dangerous situations. The risk factors and their consequences: Uncontrolled risks can thus have potentially serious consequences for our employees’ physical health, which may be temporary or more lasting, and sometimes even irreversible. The first consequences involve the physical integrity of our employees, which is in itself unacceptable and in breach of our declaration of CSR values and commitments. Moreover, the risk of criminal charges against senior management cannot be ruled out in the event of a serious accident in the workplace. Over and above the personal impact, there are multiple consequences for our organisational structures. An accident leading to a work stoppage leads to a transfer of responsibilities to other employees working in the department concerned, causing a potential surcharge of work that may increase possible risks. The disorganisation of the work load that may arise from this can lead to a deterioration in the quality of service provided to customers, thus harming the company’s image and commercial reputation. Finally, the increase in the “Workplace Accident” contribution rate could lead to financial consequences in the medium term (over 3 years).
