DESCOURS & CABAUD has cultivated this pro-active spirit ever since the company was first founded. Transmitted from one generation to the next, it has characterised the Group throughout its history and continues to inspire its CSR approach today. In the form of our “Positive Programme”, this approach is conceived as a means of achieving sustainable performance not only in economic terms but also in the social and environmental fields. You will discover in this third “Declaration of Non-Financial Performance” an overview of our major achievements during the course of 2020. In a year strongly marked by the health crisis, we opted to maintain our activities to sustain economic sectors that are of vital importance for France, while making the health and safety of our customers our absolute priority. We have not, however, dedicated a specific section to the risks arising from the pandemic in this edition of our report. All the stakeholders in our environment are in fact interdependent and in order to be effective, preventive actions must necessarily be shared and coordinated between all our partners, suppliers and customers. We nevertheless maintain our strict standards in terms of the prevention of health risks and we continue to apply all the other priorities that have guided our activities for over two centuries along the path towards sustainable growth.
