2020 DECLARATION OF NON-FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF THE DESCOURS & CABAUD GROUP 45 MANDATORY THEMES (Article L225-102-1, 2°-III of the French Commercial Code) Social environmental and societal data must be pro- cessed and provided in the Declaration of Non-Financial Performance. Some of this data is not considered relevant to the Group's business and is therefore not provided. 4. Annual consumption of Data Centres in kWh 1,200,000 1,000,000 800,000 600,000 400,000 200,000 0 2012 2014 2017 2013 2016 2015 2018 2019 2020 882,457 961,543 820,956 777,643 748,950 573,518 443,550 345,774 719,687 In terms of pollution • Light pollution: the Group uses very few luminous signs and its professional activity does not lead it leave signs lit up outside working hours. • Sound pollution: Our activity does not cause sound pollution for the immediate neighbourhood, since this is confined to the interior of the buildings. In the latter case, the preventive measures adapted are systematically implemented to protect operators. • Soil pollution: the chemical products distributed are systematically stored in retention basins so as to prevent any overflow in the event of an accidental leakage. In terms of the circular economy • Our sales activity still consumes a lot of paper today, but this is falling considerably and numerous volumes of waste are the subject of specific action plans. • A logistical organisation of subsidiaries directed towards platform solutions optimised by the concentration of stocks, the rationalisation of the range and logistical resources. These measures must result in lower global stock levels, reduced surface areas and energy consumption, and optimised conditions of transport. • The annual cumulative electricity consumption of the Group's Data Centres has steadily fallen by more than 61% since 2012. Waste products The production of waste comes mainly from packaging, whether this originates from preceding activities (manufacturers and suppliers) or product dispatches arising from our own activity. With this in mind, our actions aim to raise awareness among suppliers so they will restrict their product packaging (a recently launched initiative) and also to undertake several initiatives concerning deliveries dispatched from our own platforms. Thus the stock to be sent to agencies is delivered in reusable boxes (cardboard boxes and plastic film have been suppressed), and the extension of this formula is also envisaged for certain major customers.
